A Primitive Way To Celebrate Father's Day
Really it’s a present for everyone
I’ve been working on complex newsletters like: “should you let your kids use ChatGPT for their homework?” And “should kids have AI friends?” Both have been too complex to finish and frankly just felt weird to send on Father’s Day.
Instead, I want to share something I rediscovered with you. Finding and watching this video created a bonding moment with my four-year-old. It’s a slow video with no explanation about what’s going on or why. But, if you like thinking about technology and the progression of humanity I think your family might enjoy watching it too:
For us the video started conversations about what life was like before electricity, cars, and even before smartphones. My daughter’s main question: “how did they build houses?”
The creator, Primitive Technology, has 10M+ subscribers and more than a decade of projects. These were a go-to during 2020 and I’m glad to rediscover the channel during a happier time.
Happy Father’s Day to those you celebrate and hope you enjoy!
